CHEF KODY HARRIS
Chef Kody Harris began her culinary career in Portland, OR at the age of 8, washing dishes in her family's restaurant. She always knew that her passion was for food and the hospitality industry, instilled by her Greek family, especially her grandfather who was a chef himself. Beginning as a line cook 30 years ago, Chef Kody has opened over 22 restaurants, designing kitchens and training employees for maximum efficiency to withstand 7-8 million in annual gross sales . She has been recognized for setting company records for zero employee turnover in a 3 year period and revising menus, cutting food/operation costs in 3 different concepts saving over $500k annually. Chef Kody likes to spend her spare time running with her pitbulls, or catching up on the latest cubs game when she is not out enjoying the Arizona sun.
Janna Harris has wide experience in restaurants. Starting as a hostess in her hometown of Oklahoma City, OK. She worked her way through Front of House management, then began programming POS systems. Managing the POS and Inventory systems for 50 restaurants nationwide. She eventually was promoted to the IT Director for 18 restaurants cross-country. Missing the everyday bustle of a restaurant, she completed the pastry program at Le Cordon Bleu and spent the next couple of years running a bakery. However, her entrepreneur spirit won't let her be. Over the years working with different establishments, she realized that the demise of many restaurants were the fine details that owner/operators are missing in the everyday flow. With that, BOH Consulting was born. She imagines a world where 90% of peoples' restaurant dreams don't fail.
